List of Hatkar clans
The Hatkar (archaically transliterated as HattiKara) are a warrior caste in India. They primarily reside in the Indian states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Telangana.
The word ''Hatkar'' derives from the Marathi words ''hat'', meaning "obstinacy", and ''kar'', meaning "obstinate".
